I'm nearly finished with BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS by Kurt Vonnegut (it's fantastic by the way) and I happened upon this quote of his online (G-d bless Wikipedia) and I think it's pretty much the truth:
"If you really want to disappoint your parents, and don't have the heart to be gay, go into the arts."

Yeah, every now and then I find these great quotes that I have no practical use for...so I guess I'm going to just have to post them here ('fore I lose them). I'm glad you got my stories. I really miss Creative Writing workshops (never thought I'd say that) but it sucks not having a captive audience...
I have not read any Borges, but I'm going to have to Wiki him and pile up my infamous "to read" list. That thing keeps getting higher and higher.
