Kick Ass New Shoes

I did something last week that I rarely do: I bought shoes. I'm writing about this because it is such a rare thing. Leah wanted me to get some "adult" shoes I think, but I bought these instead (they were "Bogo" Terri).

I'm going to post a pic of my Hi-Tec shoes now. I bought them using store credits Keith had at Cabela's--two years ago and they are STILL perfectly good shoes.

You should do that.

I'm fascinated by the relationship women have (and men don't have) with shoes. Growing up, I wore one pair of shoes everyday...UNTIL THEY FELL APART.

I do admit, owning more than one pair does make them ALL last long (because they aren't used 100% of the time) but other than this...I can see no point in owning multiple pairs of shoes.

Not that anyone cares, but the best pair of shoes I've ever purchased are a pair of New Balance tennis shoes. They're my "work" shoes now, but other than a small hole on the toe--they are as good as the day I bought them...6 years ago.
