Close.

I am very close to finishing my novel. If not Sunday, then Monday for sure. This thing is so close to being done. I worked my @$$ off this week, waking up and writing before work AND working at night. I took Thursday off, because I got a little burned out...but I've re-charged my batteries, and am ready to finish if off.

You have greater staying power than me - mine was becomong mroe and more like crap so i have set it aside. Sigh .... I know that writing a best seller wasn't the point of the exercise.

Having said all of that, I am mentally wokring on some kinks and plan to start again on 1 December - just to complete the challenge (in principle if not on deadline).

Writing is very difficult. The only way I was able to make it through NaNoWriMo last year was to follow their advice and not re-read or edit ANYTHING.

And while I got my novel jump-started this way, I also wrote 110 pages of 100% CRAP (that had to be scrapped).

Anyway, you can write whenever you want...so I say why not start on November 24 instead of December 1?
