A Moment of Silence for my iPOD

Leah just called me, she said that she just accidentally washed (and most likely killed) my iPOD. This is my third one.

*sigh*

All I have now are the memories.

What a crappy day I'm having, and then I get this news.

I bet you thought I'd be really mad/angry about it...but I'm not. It's just another one of those things.

(BTW--I don't blame you, you were doing me a favor by washing my pants. I should know by now NOT to leave my iPOD in my pants).

Gonna sound stupid, but sometimes if you let stuff like that dry out, it starts working again.

Can't hurt.

I've never even had an iPod so you should feel blessed that you have killed three off.

Yeah, the last time this happened it worked once it was dry--it just doesn't work like it should (if that makes sense).

That battery is what gets messed up. What happened last time was that battery simply wouldn't hold a charge. You had to charge it up, then use it ASAP. No charging it up then taking it for a walk a hour later.

Kind of a pain, but still usable. Sorta.

I haven't tried the latest "dead" one yet. And you're right, I'm luck to have had the opportunity to kill off so many fine pieces of electronics.
