The CP3O Shuffle
Here's a free tip (courtesy of the Limemonkey): If you decide to take up running, be sure to stretch.
On Saturday, I came home to find a digital scale in my kitchen. For some reason, Leah thought that right next to the fridge was the best place for it. I got on it, and yikes. That's all I can say, "yikes."
So, some changes are in order. I woke up early-ish on Sunday and decided to go running. I stretched...a little. Turns out I didn't stretch enough. My legs were sore, but it didn't stop me from running again this morning. I stretched, but it was too late--the damage was done. Now I'm walking like CP3O from STAR WARS--I'm very, very stiff. I'm okay, but stairs are MURDER on my legs. Strangely, it's the going down part that hurts the worst. You'd think going upstairs would be the worst, but no.
Anyway, tonight at work was fun. My job involves a lot of walking/wandering around and stair climbing. Ugh...when did I start getting so damn old?
