Ugh, not this again...I've had so many people tell me I look like that stupid little shit...
No, it wasn't intentional! And let me state a fact:
I HAVE LOOKED LIKE THIS SINCE 1983!!! HARRY POT-HEAD HAS ONLY BEEN AROUND SINCE, WHAT? THE MID-80'S? SO IF ANYTHING: HE LOOKS LIKE ME, RATHER ME LOOKING LIKE HIM.
A guy at Chevy's on Olive told me "You look like Spiderman when he's not being Spiderman." He meant Peter Parker. Okay. So what do Peter Parker and Harry Potter have in common? They're nerds.
Thanks Mexican guy. Thanks for calling me a nerd (basically).
On behalf of myself and random mexican guy, I'm sorry for accusing you of looking like you have supernatural powers, be they magical or radioactive.
By way of explanation, though not excuse (of which I can only offer one: ignorance), I would like to point out that in our media-obsessed culture, pointing out a resemblance to a celebrity is usually considered a compliment, and that both Mr Parker and Mr Potter (though fictional) have positive attributes.
Yet you A) Focus on the negative B) Imply that intelligence and intellectual pursuits are undesirable (How am I, the "Smartest person you know" supposed to take that?) C) To put it bluntly, overreact to an offhand comment.
I know it's irritating to hear the same thing over and over, especially when you don't think it's particularly accurate, but how is another person supposed to know how many times you've been told something?
I think you reacted too much to my comment as well. I typed my comment with a chuckle...alas, you thought I was really mad about it. I GUESS THE CALL CAPS THING WORKS.
Which is funny, 'cos I tend to ignore things like that.
Perhaps so. I personally think I was reacting to the added emphasis in the text, as well as to what I perceived as a sarcastic tone in the closing remark...
Text encodes emotion differently than speech, and while it's the reader's job to pick up on it, the writer has to place it properly, or run the risk of misinterpretation.
And here I am, lecturing an english major on the written word. Please let me know if I'm being a pompous ass.
I mean, I like Leah, but not quite as much as you do. I only have one picture of her in my home, outside of the good ol' cache, and that's the blurry one of the back of her head in the Jewish Light. Any opinions I have are likely biased by that.
On the other hand, it's a touching tribute to the woman you love, and helps you feel near to her when you're apart. Thus, my opinion of it doesn't matter.
I could drone on and on about the transitions, and the framing of each shot, but I'm not going to bother. You like it. She likes it. Who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks?
Shit yeah. I mean, don't get me wrong...the soft sounds are good...but Oasis is and always will be a loud band. Great, great band (so underrated/hated).

In case you were wondering:
"She is Love" by Oasis (Leah's favorite band...NOT!!!).
I *heart* you tooo, so much
:)
At 1:43 (remaining), is the resemblance to Harry Potter intentional?

Wow. I didn't know it was such a sore spot.

Ha-ha, hee-hee...it don't really piss me off that much...but it does annoy me sometimes.
I just don't think I look like either of those people. But I guess I'm wrong.

Maybe, but I'm always a ass. Anyway, other than looking like Harry Potter, what about the clip?
Meh... Bunch of shots of Leah.

Well I certainly hope you don't like Leah as much as I do!
Oh and I now love oasis, that right that has now made them awesome in my mind
