Things have quieted down on the 01-18-08 front, but I still keep checking the film's website...ever-ready for an update. Then today to my shock, the website is gone--visitors are now routed to the official Paramount website (where you can now watch the 01-18-08 trailer). Anyway, the mystery seems to be over. The photos are gone...what were they trying to tell us?
I guess we'll find out in January.

You know I have a couple of websites I've grown oddly obsessed with. One is "The Wit of the Staircase" though the author took her life in July...
A week later her partner (Jeremy Blake) took his life as well. Both were talented artists--video/art/game/music mash-ups.
As bloggers have speculated about what went wrong, many suspect that they are caught up in an Alternate Reality Game with some dead-serious consequences. Scientologists and the whole bit.
Interesting, I'm going to have to check it out...I'm endlessly fascinated by the dark, back-alleys of the Internet (and the human soul).
