Today at 11:13am I hit 50,000 words, thus "winning" NaNoWriMo!!! I still can't believe that I did it. Thanks to everyone for all the support, especially Leah who's had to endure a month of me drinking coffee and staying up late writing. My current word count is 50,043 and I'm on page 187. I'd say I'm a little over the halfway point, which means there is still a lot of work left to do...but I'm not worried about that, not today. Today I'm a winner. I set out to write 50,000 words by the end of November--and I did it!

Congratulations. I want to read the entire thing when you're finished...but if you're just half done, maybe you can sign up for Nanowrimo again next year.
Ha! No kidding! Actually I'm going to sit down and write a "battle plan" tonight. I'm thinking people will be able to read it in like 6 months...
